Hi, I’m Dana

As long as I can remember, I’ve been an optimist, living in my own world of rainbows and butterflies where everyone had great intentions and every story had a happy ending.

Fast forward through my early twenties in New York City where I yearned for fulfillment alongside finding success in my career, and growing new and old relationships, I realized that of course we live with more than just rainbows and butterflies—we live in storms and with snakes too, but the key to a fulfilling, sustainable, and happy life is to develop healthy tools and routines that help us overcome the unpleasant and less desirable times.

With all the stimulation and chaos in the city, yoga quickly became my outlet for spiritual guidance and movement.

In 2018, I deepened my practice through a 500-hour yoga teacher training with Modo Yoga. I learned more about the physical yoga practice (asana), and I uncovered mindfulness and what yoga meant off the mat.

To summarize a lot of inspiring information: Mindfulness and Yoga meant treating our planet, our communities and ourselves with more careful love and deep respect

This inspired me to continue to learn.

A year after my yoga training, I signed up for nutrition school, The Integrative Institute of Nutrition, where I intended to learn more about the right way to eat, but quickly it became clear that food is such a small piece of the happiness pie.

The more I learned about all facets of wellness, the more I was sharing with anyone who’d listen. I realized my passion wasn’t in the food itself, but in finding ways to heal, healing-food included.

I am so empowered by all of the information I’ve sought out and absorbed, and I want more than anything to share with people so they can be empowered to optimize their own life through better health and more happiness.

I’m here to guide people to help them find what diet works best for their bio-individuality, to hold them accountable to achieve their own goals.
